Homebrew Belua Species Details
The belua live in a heavily forested region wear the trees make to belua look like a tiny ant. They climb and even live on these trees. They live in very small tribes the move from tree to tree. Males are typically a little bigger then females but female's are leaders and males are warriors and also hunters. Beluas have thumbs but there not so usful due to size but it still has a claw. Belua grow up kind of like dragon, and when they become ancient they are the most dominanting creatures out there. Belua aren't as brutish as it seems because they are very caring for nature and show mercy at time.
Belua Traits
DarkvisionClaws: +1 dex and advantage to being grappled
You have claws that give you the ability to kill. They deal 1d6 slashing damage and dabbles if you are not holding your weapons and if you have no armor.
Damage increases by 1d6 when you reach 3rd level and again at 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 19th.
When you reach 12th level you can choose a new damage type from the list: slashing, peircing, poison, fire, cold, lightning. You can only switch them once every short or long rest.
Also while you attack with nothing in your hands you may attack four times with your claws.
Hardend scales: +1 con
Your scales hardend to stone, you get the following benefits:
Ac equals 10 + con + proficiency bonus
Once you've reached 11th level you gain the immunity to non-magical damage.
At 20th level you gain the following ability (DM's choice): you no longer have the restriction of your ability score for dex and con
Terrifying
You gain the following abilities:
Proficiency in the intimidation skill
+2 to cha
At 6th level you become immune to being scared
At level 10 when you roll for initiative, every creature that is hostile to you and/or allies, and can see or hear you with in 30ft must make a cha saving throw with a DC equal to 12 + cha + proficiency bonus. On a failed save they become terrified of you. On a successful save they only get disadvantage on attack rolls against you.
