Homebrew Crocodan Species Details

The eastern swamps hold mysteries and dangers like few other places on this earth. Mist permeates its horizon, and the muddy terrain will make any journey a task few would be able to tackle, that is, as long as there's ground for your feet. The most effective way to cross this region is usually to use a series of canals and rivers that cross each other until they flow into the sea, but even with a boat, not everyone will be able to cross this challenge, because in addition to these rivers that divide and curve countless times, forming a kind of labyrinth, they are also home to one of the least known "intelligent" races in all of Elysium.
Crocodile-men, or Crocodan also, live in scattered tribes in the swampy regions of all Elysium, but their main concentration is the vast eastern swamps and the tropical forests that surround them. Each tribe usually has an average of 60 members, including males, females and offspring. Nearby tribes can form alliances to fight invaders. Extremely wild, they live by hunting, but feed much more on fish. Quite territorial, these attack any creature that invades their territory.

Apex predators

Bipedal beings, with a reptilian aspect, wild and amphibians, are approximately the same size as a human being, although many reach over 6 feet in height. They swim better than they walk, due to their tail, which on land drags along the ground behind their back, but in the water it is a formidable limb for gaining momentum and manoeuvring, in addition to being able to be used to strike opponents. Aside from strength in their limbs and practically being born with armor, their most prevalent trait, of course, their jaw, is a formidable natural weapon. Their teeth change throughout their lives, never missing teeth for those scary smiles. Names and language
The language of the Crocodan is only spoken by them, for two main reasons, one being their isolation. It is very rare for Crocodans to maintain prolonged contact with other races, and the other reason is an anatomical limitation. Their tongue uses clicks on the roof of their mouths, growls, strong syllables, reverberations from their throats, and gestures with arms and hands, becoming extremely complex and difficult to reproduce.
Most Kracodan names use 2-3 syllables, and it is customary for males to have names that end in K, O, and R.
Examples; Alok, Tamok, Utako, Gor, Barmu, Noma, Tik.
