Homebrew Awakened cat (reworked) Species Details
Awakened cats usually know why they are the way they are but on rare occasion the process in which an Awakened cat is made could make the cat forget things periodically. These cats are usually not accepted as they are seen as works of unholy nature. These felines are usually leaning more neutral when awakened though something in their life could change that.
Awakened cat (reworked) Traits
Awakened cats have the following traits.Ability score increase
Your Dexterity score increases by two, while both your Wisdom and Charisma scores' both increase by one.
Age
The average lifespan for any cat is 12-18 years, though rarely some can live well into their 30's and with magic even longer. Awakened cats mature at the age of 1.
Size
You are six - 12 pounds, ~18 inches long, and ~10 inches tall.
Speed
A walking speed of 40 feet, climbing speed of 20 feet, and a burrowing speed of 5 feet.
Cat like vision
- You can only see in black, white, blue, and yellow.
- you can only see 40 feet Infront of you.
- you have Darkvision, you can see 30 feet in front of you in dim light as if it were bright light, and darkness as if it were dim light.
- you have a field of view of 200 degrees.
Feline proficiencies
you become proficient in perception and stealth.
claws
with an unarmed strike your attacks are now slashing and deals 1d4+your dex mod.
languages
All awakened cats know common and one other language. Awakened cats can also cast speak with animals at will regardless of if they are spellcasters or not and it does not expend a spell slot when used.
Landing on all fours
No matter the height you will always land on all fours and take no damage from your fall.
