Homebrew Cursed human (leech) Species Details
You are a cursed human becoming a leech hybrid. Most likely was born raised and cursed in wetlands or near a largr lake. Like a vampire you need blood to survive though your sources aren't as limited. With the intestinal tract to still consume solid matter you can eat raw meats and insects to satiate your hunger for blood. You should never allow yourself to go hungry for the safety of you and your party.

Your fanged maw is a natural weapon, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with it, you deal piercing damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
Hold Breath
You can hold your breath for up to 15 minutes at a time.
Feeding frenzy
When a creature within 50 feet takes any damage, you begin raging as an immediate action triggering a transformation. You may make a will save to negate (10), You gain an extra +2 bonus to Strength and Constitution, and a 10 foot increase to speed. The frenzy will end if an bite attack lands.
Can only be activated once per short rest.

Your ability scores each increase by 1.

Humans reach adulthood in their late teens and live less than a century.
Size
Humans vary widely in height and build, from barely 5 feet to well over 6 feet tall. Being cursed though you'll lean towards being taller with disturbing limb lengths.

Your base walking speed is 30 feet. Your base swimming speed is 30 feet.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common and one extra language of your choice. Humans typically learn the languages of other peoples they deal with, including obscure dialects. They are fond of sprinkling their speech with words borrowed from other tongues: Orc curses, Elvish musical expressions, Dwarvish military phrases, and so on.
