Homebrew Chordata Species Details

Chordata are one of the only races that live almost exclusively in the Umbra Tier and are forbidden by the Hierocracy from  entering the Dawn or Radiant Tiers as the government sees them as little beter than vermin. The Chordata do not take this exclusion well.
Chordata are surly, impatient, easily angered and quick to bear grudges. The lack of respect and opportunity compels countless to Chordata to serve in Umbran gangs for despite their small size, Chordata are fearsome fighters, posesing impresive strength and thickshells. Not all about the Chordata is bad; they are brave, resilient, tenacious, and ambitious, giving the Umbra district much of the fire that scares the Highdistricts. Chordatan gangs are usually made up exclusively of their own race.

Your thick shell provides you a +2 natural armor bonus to AC

You have advantage on saving throws against being frightened

Ability Score Increase

Your Constitution score increases by 2, and your Strength score increases by 1.
