Homebrew Yuan-ti half breed Species Details
Half breeds are looked down on in disgust by the main bloodline, and are cast out from society. They often live off the land, and will wear masks and wraps or bandages to hide their snakelike features from sight.
Yuan-ti half breed Traits
Mixed breed yuan-ti are usually outkasts from all societies. Rejected by their yuan-ti bretheren and feared by everyone else, half bred yuan-ti are misunderstood. They are not necessarily evil, but being mistreated their whole lives does bring bad blood.Blindsight
You can sense vibrations in the ground with the help of sensory organs in your feet. Because of this you can see in total and magical darkness for 30 feet.
Ability Score Increase
Your dexterity score increases by 2, and your wisdom score increases by 2.
Innate spellcasting
You gan access to 3 racial based spells.
Flexible limbs
Your snake-like bone structure allows you to contort your body beyond normal human ability. Your arms and legs have hundreds of small connected bones that enable you to wrap your limbs around objects like a snake.
A creature must make a saving throw to escape a grapple, and it does so with disadvantage. On a failed save the creature is grappled and takes 1d8 bludgeoning damage. The creature then rolls to escape at the start of their turn.
The save for this ability is DC 14.
