Homebrew Demon of Babylon Species Details

“But you do see the way people look at you, demon.”

Those red eyes, burning like the rage of 10000 bull, were staring right into her soul and the sudden seriousness in his voice jolted her.

“What is it they say?” he asked. “One’s a curse, two’s a plague—”

“Three’s the end,” she finished. “You think I haven’t heard that rubbish before?”

“I know you have.” When she glared at him, he added, “It’s not as if I’m of the corruption of the your mind, dear girl. That is the burden of every Babylonian. Some break under it, some make it the millstone around their neck, some revel in it.” He tilted his head again, scrutinizing her, with that wicked glint in his eyes. “You fight it, don’t you? Like a little wildcat, I wager. Every little jab and comment just sharpens your claws.”

To be greeted with pitchfork and flames, to suffer or bring violence and death on the street, to see mistrust and fear in every eye: this is the lot of the Babylonian. And to twist the knife, Babylonians know that even if they intend good, bloodshed follows their every step. Their appearance and their nature are not their fault but the result of an ancient sin, for which they and their children and their children’s children will always be held accountable.

Demonic Bloodline

Babylonians are derived from the depths of the underworld, they appear as a humaniod creature, with horns and wings of many varieties. Their canine teeth are sharply pointed, and their eyes are solid red, with no visible sclera or pupil. Their skin tone is a pitch black to shades or dark grey, so dark no light can reflect off it. Their hair, cascading down from behind their horns, is as dark black as the rest of them.

Self-Reliant and Suspicious

you will rarely find a Demon of Babylon in the plane of the living, and if you do it either is already trying to kill you and your in combat, or they are disguised with some sort of magic item or spell, one thing that gives them away are their wings being tucked into their shirt, and their fiery red eyes.

Even in the underworld they are despised as pests, no matter where you find them, they naturally cause chaos around them, they are very very unlucky which is why other demons and their own kind hate them, altho there luck dose not effect them themselves, so if their unluck makes a cave collapse they tend to be uneffected by it.
