Homebrew Aasimon Species Details
Angels possessed comely, even sublime looks, and most had wings. Beyond this, there was great physical diversity among angels.
The immense power of angels was balanced by their compassion and kindness. Beyond their propensity for goodness, there was great diversity among angels in terms of their moral and ethical sensibilities. Some were very lawful and orderly beings, ensuring that truth prevailed; others upheld the importance of freedom, choice, and creativity; while still others maintained a balance.
All angels were honest beings, who found lying or cheating abhorrent. Likewise, it was against the nature of angels to steal from others, and angels were typically honorable and trustworthy in all their dealings. (Some argued that this behavior implied that angels were only ever lawful good beings, but this was only a more recent opinion) Angels were quick to vocalize their disapproval to any companions who did not act in similar manner and would seek to repair any damage done by such misguided peers.
Aasimon sought to lead by example and tried to persuade others toward righteousness without having to preach or condemn. If their goals were in direct conflict with another, they would never acquiesce. Even so, they considered violence as the last option and would never provoke a fight, desiring rather to find a peaceful solution. If angered, however, it was hard to find another kind of being in the multiverse with so intense an emotion of wrath. Their vengeance was terrifying and swift. Against fiends, they showed no mercy, and they felt no remorse when slaying an evil creature.
Some angels are send to the material plane to learn and grow until they are ready to take on the full duties of their deity. Even on the material plane they mostly do what their deity desires, whether it is to help the commoners, or cleanse the land of residing evil entities.

Angelic Wings
You have a pair of feathered wings sprouting from your back granting you a flying speed equal to your walking speed. To use this speed, you can’t be wearing heavy armor. As an action you can retract them into your body or manifest them again.
While your wings are retracted you are indistinguishable from a humanoid, but your creature type can still be sensed by magic.
You can manifest your wings while wearing armor, but armor and clothing not made to accommodate your wings might be destroyed when you manifest them.
True Name
You must choose a name that becomes your true name. The name doesn't need to be the one that you share or address yourself with.
If a creature speaks your true name in the native language of your home plane, while they are within 120 feet of you, you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw. the DC of the save equals 12 + your proficiency bonus. On a successful save nothing happens. On a failed save you have disadvantage on all Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma saving throws until the end of your next turn. The creature also knows your location and you can't benefit from being hidden, invisible, or unseen against it.
Your GM might create ways to learn your true name. Spells such as legend lore, Commune, or Contact Other Plane could give the name out.
