Homebrew Succubus Species Details

“I wandered into the woods, only to find her. She stood there like nothing was happening, despite all the fighting nearby."

The old elven man paused, collecting his thoughts.

"Her voice was tender and sweet. She beckoned me over, and I suddenly was lost in her eyes. The war raging around me was suddenly gone. I could only hear her voice. And she helped me through the darkest hour."

"Father, you've told this story many times." The elven woman seemed annoyed with her elderly father. "It was 400 years ago, can't you get over it already?"

"But that's the thing..." the old man looked her in the eyes.

"I saw her today, and she looked exactly the same as she did 400 years ago. She hadn't aged even a day."

Succubi are of infernal descent, but very rarely show it due to their nature. Their elven blood shines through the most, leaving succubi beautiful and elegant creatures. Succubi often grow up in elven homes, but outlive elves by many years. Succubi tend to hide away, however, as their beauty causes all people to surround them at all times.

Eternal Grace

While succubi age at an elven rate, the aging stops once they hit maturity. Though they may die naturally around 2000 years of age, succubi will still look just like a young adult. As such, they have an eternal beauty time can never take from them. Many others, even elves, see it as a great blessing, but to some succubi is is a horrible curse. They are rarely treated like just another person, and despite praise and affection, feel alienated from a normal life.

Drawn to Love

Succubi have a very strong, primal urge to find love. While this is easy as they are so beautiful, some feel it is hard to find someone who loves not just their beauty but their personality. As such, succubi often distrust admirers despite their need for love. Occasionally they will find someone they truly love and start a family.
