Centaurian occupation:

Centaurians for the most part are farmers and hunters, as it is a self sustaining carrier and is easier to master. In the city, the most common job is being a businessperson or a tradesman, but many people have a gob mastering a specific trade, such as builders and carpenters. These people can find experience in their fields by going to special colleges, volunteer services, and advanced schools. Business schools will also be available for business students. The most common tradespeople are grocers, who usually have connections with local farmers. Doctors are usually similar to today’s modern doctors, using a combination of herbs and chemicals while also tending to wounded patients with bandages and healing techniques. In most places, sanitation workers are not needed, but when they are, police workers will second as sanitation workers. Many people along the trade routes and in the suburbs are farmers, wishing to trade their crops for wood or resources. In much more rural communities, they have more closely knit communities, called Tinari, that act as one big family where the rich support the poor. A soldier's life usually consists of protecting his town and fighting animals to eat, as few actually go off to war. On island areas, the region seems usually almost independent from its mother country, as Greenland is now.

Centauri culture:

While many countries on Earth are united under one culture, there are many different cultures in each country, and many of the times this is because of different countries being united, or Empires that have forcefully taken over certain countries and thus their culture.

If you were to look at a cultural map of Centauri B-3 compared to a political map of Centauri B-3 it would be similar to the differences between the tribes in Africa and the countries in Africa. Why this has happened is mainly because they're are more autonomous governments in Centauri B-3, at least when they are democratic, so people are able to have better understanding of their culture and be able to practice their culture without being prosecuted.

Overtime, the Centauri people have mixed their cultures with intermarriages, political unions, and subjugation of countries. Therefore many different countries, while having separate cultures, the cultures are much more mixed than when they had first originated. For example, many large coastal countries have two major cultures, one based around building infrastructure in and on the coast with trade and fishing being their main profits, while the more internal people usually doing most of the farming and resource gathering, and having a different culture based off of certain native plants and animals. If you were to look at a map of different cultures and their related cultures it would look somewhat like the picture on the next page.

 

A description of the Centaurian peoples and their traditional clothing:

The Centaurian race is a race of lizard-like bipeds with tails who usually live around rainforests and swamps or in them. These people are around 6 to 11 ft tall, and are usually teal or another shade of bluish-green. The reason they vary so much in size is because of the fact that they were prone to isolation, and therefore gigantism and dwarfism.  their main biological attributes and appearances have been around for about 10 million years, but their current achievements and development of Agriculture has only been around for about 1 million years. 

Almost all Centaurians clothing consists of leaves and small rocks and trinkets.  They usually wear a small piece of leaf-woven clothing and strap it around their tail and another around their waist covering up the privates.  Some clothing, especially for rituals, connect the two pieces into one woven article of clothing and sometimes add Leaf woven wristbands with small rocks and other small objects woven into them. Now the reader may be asking how to weave leaves together. It comes to a technique where we take thin sapling branches and weave them in and out of the leaves, as to use all parts of the tree. Many of our higher classes will, instead of connecting the woven rings, they will only lay them on top of each other in an explicit pattern known as Karanikara.

Facts about the Centaurian peoples:

-The Centaurian class grade system is based on age. 3=3 years old, 4=4 years old,... 13=13 years old. At 13-14, they go to college for 7 years, and then can go to “advanced schools” depending on the experience required for their job.

-People in small villages usually create their own items, including tools, toys, and furniture. 

-The Centaurians skin varies in different hues of blue, green, turquoise, and teal, and they also have a lighter colored stripe on the center of their torso ranging from their neck to their legs, but only on the front.

-Centaurians live from 75 to 150 years, although some live to 200 years. 

-There are many different cultures. 

-They ride in circular wooden boats - Baimo. 

-A child’s toys are usually makeshift models of buildings, tools, and boats.

-Centaurians drink water, (sweet) pollen water, and some fruit and berry juices.

-Things to look at when cracking open the shells or hunting them are the shallowness of the curve, the spacing in between the shells, and the size of the shells themselves. All countries do farming, many do collecting and hunting. Many hunt for both sport and food (hunting for feast), and almost all rural houses have farms. Most exotic food comes from traders, who get their money from selling foreign products.

-They live in wooden houses, and have outside fires. When they want to cook something, they put it in a metal bowl and use a tent-like structure to put the bowl above the fire to slowly warm it and they stir It while it's above the fire. You usually cook the meat while the stew is cooking, and you put it inside of the stew so that they cook together and it adds flavor to the broth. Some people like taking out the meat or any fat parts of the meat after it's cooked, so that it adds flavor but there isn't any of the meat itself. They almost never waste food, although some parts go to waste, like fat.

-When it's colder, centaurians usually wear leather armor and sometimes put leaves under it to soften its texture and to provide a comfortable feeling on the torso and legs. Whenever it's warmer or in climates where it doesn't get cold,They usually only wear a leaf covering around their gen!tals and a decorative covering on the edge of their tail

-Centauri B-3 is extremely flat, much like the Netherlands and Belgium, which promotes growth of rainforests, humidity, and swamps. Centaurians also usually live in forests or swamps, and they often live near water, swim, or go in water. 

-When centaurians lay eggs, they lay them in a small pond 1-2 meters in diameter and tend to the eggs.

The way the language is written:

There are letters for different phonetic sounds that are somewhat unique. For example, if there is a certain sound that basically sounds like another sound, it’s counted as the same syllable because otherwise it would be more confusing. Names or proper nouns are counted as single symbols, usually similar to the first three letters of the name if it was a word although there are lines or other things added to connect the letters. Letters go from top to bottom when creating the symbol..These symbols are often used in tribal or old empirical nations to be able to quickly represent the countries and distinguish them from any similarly colored countries’ flags. That way, instead of them being single colored if there are a lot of battles nearby, it makes the flags more recognizable.

Also there are often new symbols made up everyday because new people are always being born and last and first names are new. Rarely are names written down by phonetic symbols. If they have two last names there are two characters with a dash connecting them. When two Centarurians marry, their name will either become a completely new last symbol or will be hyphenated. When new symbols are created, they are recognizable as combinations of the previous last name symbols. Very common and rare names usually can have different pronunciations.

The way the language is written also allows a noun to have a simplified symbol of the thing in informal usage. For example, in Christianity, only a cross could be used. Or the word “moon” could be written as a drawing of the moon.

Religion and culture:

Religions are not based on people but on good deeds. Religion and culture don’t always align. For example, the thing that makes a good person or deed can be different on the coast than it is in the forest. On the coast, a good deed might be taking care of the fish in the sea where in the forest it may be taking care of the trees. Please note that this is a simplified example. Cultures are often more varied and complex.

Centauri galactic relations:

Centaurians are the economic powerhouse of the galaxy, as any of the other civilizations are in the Orion arm. Centauri B3 is located in a good spot in the Orion arm that allows them to trade with those civilizations. If they were located further in the inner or outer arms, they would not have as much trade because travel would be more dangerous. There are GIEBPBROLA stations that allow warping that lets them travel faster than light. 

Writing:

When writing was first invented, people used to collect scraps of dyes and charcoal onto large pieces of bark or chopped wood, and draw symbols that looked very similar to the object they were portraying. Then once the spoken language was truly in play, these symbols were assigned sounds. These symbols are why today and in informal language it is still correct to write a simplified version of a noun as the word. When these sounds started to become more widespread, people started to assign letters to sounds instead of assigning sounds to letters. Finally, once more complex language arrived using adjectives and articles, the noun-letters were soon on the verge of extinction, only being seen in informal language. At first these sounds were usually multiple syllables in length, but then slowly more commonly used syllables and even simple consonants and vowels were being assigned letters in multiple scripts. This transformed a hieroglyph into what we know on Earth as a semi-syllabary, but it is usually seen as just an alphabet  in Centauri B-3.

Humidity in Centauri B-3:

Humidity in Centauri B-3 is approximately 90% most of the time in the equatorial regions. In some of the less humid areas, like the poles, it is more like 80 or 75%.In  the biggest desert, it is an average of 60%. This is because the atmosphere has a high composition of water vapor and clouds are usually extremely low lying. This is also why the small hills that create deserts can be so influential, because usually they are just tall enough for most of the humidity to be blocked by them.

 

Ways of travel: 

The main way to travel in Centauri B-3 is by boat. Usually people will come from smaller rivers where they have small civilian boats and then tie said boats up to larger commercial ships, but there are also in isolated large cities without a main source of water or disconnected rivers. There are long paths without trees, that people can go through, usually with protection if they hold many goods. GIEBPBROLA ambassadors can use a spaceship for long distances as well.

Ways of communication: 

Usually, Centaurians send messages by a sealed passenger boat locally, but they do use an audio recording system to communicate long distance. This usually occurs in cities and large town areas. The audio telephone was actually made and imported from the GIEBPBROLA, not from Centauri B-3 itself.
