Homebrew Carniflora Species Details

Derived from C-type asteroids from an unknown star system, these constructs evolved rapidly to take the shape of the life forms around them. Occasionally, Carniflora may display docile tendencies, though the majority of their species is quite aggressive and untrusting of other beings, including their own kind. These beings tend to demonstrate a lower level of intelligence in comparison to animals native to the Realm, though some rare instances are well beyond what's capable of even an enlightened human being. Carniflora are a separate life form from plants, animals, and fungi alike. Their biology is not well understood, though it is notable that each Carniflora has unique biology and will rapidly evolves to fit its individual necessities. Carniflora are actually microscopic, and act like spores; consuming and controlling a plant/animal/fungus. The Carniflora will adapt the body of the consumed life form rapidly, and will require a large supply of flesh to do so. As such, most Carniflora tend to not survive when taking over creatures smaller than humans, due to the insufficient supply of flesh they yield. Carniflora require a steady food source consisting entirely of fresh meat to maintain a non-rotting host.

Mental Defense You have a +1 racial bonus to Will. Change Shape You can use changeling disguise as an at-will power. Changeling Trick You can use changeling trick as an encounter power.

Visceral Integration

The Carniflora consumes a weapon it wields and integrates it into its body. This process does not cause any pain or damage to the Carniflora, though the weapon can not be unequipped during battle. The Carniflora may only integrate two weapons at once, and may only integrate weapons that are possible for the Carniflora to wield.

Hungry

Carniflora have the ability to consume flesh on any inch of their body. As such, creatures they attack actually act as a quick snack for each time the Carniflora lands a strike. Heals 1d6 per melee strike landed.
