Homebrew Cyborg Species Details

These are the results of years of horrific experimentation on poor souls unlucky enough to have been subjugated to the Cyberization process. They are cold, unfeeling and ruthless... I wondered if it is possible to restore their former selves.  

It turns out it is. By frying their behavioral circuits they will regain their previous personality. Though the memories of who they were are locked beneath even more advanced techno magic.

Once a biological race such as a Elf or Human, these cybernetic warriors are now completely void of their emotions and personality, existing to serve their organic masters and perform whatever is required of them. They can be restored in some form by frying the control chips used to keep their personality in check. But to actually restore their memories is a whole other process far beyond most magic or technology in this day and age. 

Forms of All Kinds

Cyborgs come in all shapes, sizes, designs, models and colors. The're form is limited almost exclusively by the creator's and their skill in Cyberization. Most models appear as human-like in shape but different in most other forms. The're faces have been replaced by faceless helmets that hide all emotion, their voices are now filtered to sound robotic and their body is kept mostly intact (but completely destroyed and ravaged to the point of no longer working without Cybernetics. They come in different colors depending on their purpose and mission such as black for stealth or red for destruction. Most also way much more than an organic being due to their "enhancements"

Soulless Machines

Due to the unique process of Cyberization, most Cyborgs no longer have souls. They have almost no personality and exist to serve masters. They have no cities, no culture and no anything really. Cyborgs that regain their souls by destroying their personality may try to find some semblance of life but are usually discriminated against and left to rot as their cybernetics begin to fail.

 

Cyborg Traits

Assuming they have not regained their souls and are still machines, Cyborgs will have these traits

Cyber Eyes

The cybernetic eyes allow for pure darkvision in dim or dark areas

Enhancement

 Your ability scores each increase by 1 due to enhancements made by the Cyberization process

Relative Immortality

Cyborgs are basically immortal, as long as their cybernetics are kept working and in shape.

Alignment

Cyborgs tend toward no particular alignment. They exist to serve their masters alignment. Unless they are freed from control.

Size

Cyborgs vary widely in height and build, from barely 5 feet to well over 8 feet tall. Regardless of your position in that range, your size is Medium or Large.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 40 feet due to the enhanced walking speed of the cybernetics though this can be a flaw if the base walking speed was once faster.
