Half-Aarakocra Half-Elf (Aarako)
Aarako are the result of an Aarakocra and Elf spending a night together in passion. Physicly looking like an elf, the only obvious difference is their hair. Aarako have feathers for hair, some as long as peacocks to as short as a hummingbirds, all the colours of the rainbow, to the pitch black of a ravens. The feathers move with the Aarakos facial expressions and can produce some strange hair styles with strange moods.
The Aarakos have gone a little crazy however with their love for the sky, they love the thrill of speed and jumping and some believe that it’s better to die while flying. However, they are looked down upon by the Aarakocra, believing they are cursed.
Aarakos love to sing, and Aarakos bards can often be seen running through the streets singing about their love for life.
Aarako Traits
Lightweight bone structure and the grace of the elven blood make the Aarako a delicate but lithe race.Darkvision
Thanks to your elf blood, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Survival Expert
A mastery of both Aarakocra and Elvish tracking. You gain expertise in Survival checks and advantage on history checks when recalling places you've visited.
Ability Score Increase
Your Dexterity score increases by 4, and your Wisdom score increases by 2.
Age
Aarako reach maturity by age 17. Compared to humans, they live a much longer life, living lives similar to the elves.
Alignment
Most Aarako are good and rarely choose sides when it comes to law and chaos. Tribal leaders and warriors might be lawful, while explorers and adventurers might tend toward chaotic.
Size
Aarako are about 5 feet tall. They have thin, lightweight bodies that weigh between 80 and 100 pounds. Your size is Medium.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Flight
You have a flying speed of 50 feet. To use this speed, you can’t be wearing medium or heavy armor.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common, Aarakocra, and Elvish.
