Creatures can repeat this saving throw at the beginning of each of their turns in combat, otherwise the condition lasts for 1 minute.

Bernardii historically have difficulty adapting to worlds outside their own forests, often seeming lost in a world not fit for them. 

Bernardii eat decaying matter, typically plants. Common cooked foods taste bad to them, and cannot be digested. If 'normal' food is eaten, Bernardii take one level of exhaustion following their next long rest. Alcohol has a strong effect on Bernardii, and can cause them to become intoxicated quickly. Bernardii primarily drink water and dislike hot or dry conditions.
