Homebrew Azk'sharian Minotaur Species Details
Minotaurs are HULKING barrel-chested humanoids with heads resembling those of bulls. Nomadic in Nature, minotaurs make great navigators and can be known to have seen great swaths of Azk'shire. Many believe them Minotaurs come from an a deal between the god of Trickery and the god of Nature, the terms of the deal long lost to common knowledge.
Minotaur horns range in size from about 1 foot long to easily three times that length. Minotaurs often carve their horns to sharpen their edges, etch symbols of power into them, or sheathe them in bronze to prevent them from shattering during battle.
Thick hair extends down minotaurs’ necks and powerful backs, and some have long patches of hair on their chins and cheeks. Their legs end in heavy, cloven hooves, and they have long, tufted tails.
Historically speaking, Minotaurs have been around just as long as the Elves, but seem to have only found their way into social graces 1,200 years ago; when Dwarves sought to trade with the nomadic tribes that passed Ironcliff, giving birth to a long standing, if sometimes sourceless, friendship, rivalry, and competitive nature between the two.
