Homebrew Ancient Species Details

Part of a long lost civilization, these ancient beings continue their traditions and culture in secrecy today. The members of this race are usually up to 6'7", showing many different patterns on their skin on their right arm only until further discovery. These patterns glow with a faint light blue light, like dim, magical flames. Their skin is strangely gray like stone, looking just desaturated from a glance. This might come to be as of the caves the race was developed in, giving them advantage over the troglodytes that share their cave environments. They have a special language known as "Ancient speech" that is compose of different patterns of flashes from their glowing symbols on their bodies. They usually darkish silver hair usually growing to the bottom of their necks, unusually not surpassing this limit in any natural way. More individuals of this race are more likely to have at least traces of magic, and are more likely to be spell casters.
