You mostly look human, but have a few axolotl like traits. You have an axolotl's gills and tail, this being what makes you a good swimmer. The gills are also what tie you to the water. You also have webbed hands and feet, making you even better at swimming. Your gills, tail, and webbing are likely the one of the many colours axolotls have. This could be pink, white, brown,  pale blue or many more.

You are a small creature. Your height is 2 feet to 4 feet.

You are very light and don't weigh much. You weigh 30 lbs to 60 lbs.

Your axolotl origins give you strong regenerative capabilities. You aren't afraid of loosing limbs as they will soon come back by your regenerative properties. You can regrow your limbs, tail, gills, and even part of your brain in a few months. Your constitution score also increases by 2.

As an aquatic species, you can not spend long amounts of time out of water. You can go several hours without water as long as you keep moist/damp, as long as your head is submerged. If you spend longer than a few minutes on land with your head out of water, you will start to suffocate.

You are capable of consuming your brethren in tough situations. These tough situations refer to limited food in your habitat. This can only be used as a last resort, and not a food supply replacement.

You can easily ignore any pain you feel, due to your ancestors facing rough conditions. Your ancestors have had to face through lost limbs and eating bit of each other. This has caused you to evolve to feel less pain from attacks, though you still can feel pain. Some have even grown to enjoy this pain, as they have grown to find new experiences and wish to understand how others feel pain.
