Homebrew Crustacean Nation Hermit Crab Species Details
The Crab-folk are a near-ancient species, originating from the Far Eastern of the Summerwind Isles. They have been a part of the Crustacean Nation since the dawn of Crust and Must, and have a close ally-ship with the Lobster-folk, through trade and through their armies sharing a banner under the Two Claw Kings. The Crab-folk, being crabs, have a very short attention span, and forget about most of their other allies since they aren't always in contact.
As of late, however, the Crab-folk and Lobster-folk have been targeted by races and species throughout the lands, due to their resemblance to their cousins, Crabs and Lobsters, who are known for their culinary uses. The folk are just seen as larger versions of them, which is a problem. Unfortunately though, Crab-folk have a very short attention span, and forgot about the issue until reminded much later.
The Crustacean Nation rallied their armies into battle against those who opposed them, when suddenly, the forces were desecrated from the inside! Huge Shell-bombs were set off, killing and injuring many. From within the army, soldiers began to kill one another. The Barnacle-folk had turned on the other Crust-folk, and left them stunned and helpless after the huge attack.
It was later revealed that the Barnacle-folk had allied themselves with the Whelks, a horrifying species of pure terror and death. Such beings are hellish and demonic to Crustaceans, and this has made sure that when the Barnacle-folk charge into battle with the ocean-wide feared barbaric ferocious Whelk army, all those who stand in their way shall be demolished. As of the spoken present, their targets were the remaining colonies of the Crustacean Nation. The enemies had also set up crab-traps and fishing nets to surround the warrior Mantis Shrimps and Lobsters and isolate them from all others, after they refused to swear fealty to the Whelk Lords. This act was in hopes that they would not fight back, and the remaining colonies would be nearly helpless - that is, except for the Crab-folk! Unfortunately though, Crab-folk have a very short attention span, and keep forgetting about this imperative issue.
Who will be the one to save the day, for all Crabkind? Who will defeat the Whelks and Barnacles, free the Crustacean Nation, and rebuild it anew? Who will be the next Hero and Savior of Claw, Shell, and Crust?
