Homebrew Wendigo Species Details
A wendigo, a monster formed through sheer mayhem. the Wendigo is a bloodthirsty monster, that lives off of raw flesh and blood. the Wendigo is driven by a spirit of ravenous hunger, and unbridled rage. the Wendigo is a monster of large size, with the average height being around 10 feet tall.
the Wendigo's appearence is disturbing in nature. the beast stands at 10 feet tall, with a deep carve in its spine. grey skin pulled taught against the bone, with large, deer-like antlers protruding the skull.
the Wendigo has large, canine-like teeth, lodged inside of a Deer-shaped skull. The Wendigo's arms are long, and gaunt. with large claws extending half a foot from the nail-beds
Wendigo Traits
Wendigo's use their raving hunger, and fury to enhance their combat abilities. Wendigo's are amazingly strong, and freakishly tough.Mimcry
Wendigo's are capable of mimicking animal sounds, or human voices. a creature that hears the sounds must make a wisdom (insight) check against your Charisma (deception) check
Darkvision
you can see 60 feet in dim light as if it were bright light, and dark light as if it were dim light. you can't discern colours while in darkness, only shades of grey
Stealthy hunter
Wendigo's are well known for their stealth. gain proficiency in the Stealth skill
Unyielding Hunger
Wendigo are required to eat at least one pound of humanoid flesh a week. or they suffer from one point of Exhaustion. The exhaustion can't be removed by any way, other than eating humanoid flesh.
Wendigo's can survive for a single day on things like wild game, and cooked meat. but they need humanoid flesh to survive.
Frenzied Strength
The Wendigo spirit bolsters the beasts strength. increase a ability score of your choice by 1
Ravenous Strength
The Wendigo spirit enhances the beast, allowing it to push itself to its limits. select one ability to increase by 1
Thick Skin
the Wendigo's skin is incredibly thick. it can tank gunshots, and sword slashes. increase base AC by 2 (must not be wearing armour for this bonus to apply)
