Homebrew Centipoid Species Details

Centipede Archers

Centipoids have the lower body of a giant centipede and a vaguely humanoid upper body covered in chitin. They live in desert and canyon environments and value ranged weapons over melee weapons and armour. The community usually lives in one large sandstone ball in which all the necessities for the colony's survival can be found. Although it may not appear it, Centipoids can trace their roots back to the Feywild, where they would serve Fey royalty in the marshes and woods of Gloaming Court. However they still retain their love for royalty as the colony will have a queen that lives at the top of the nest, even though all of the colony's decisions are voted on through a democratic system filtering down the nest, making the monarch and her role purely ceremonial.
