Homebrew Alberra Species Details
Alberra originated from Nothics and Therianthropes that forewent through changes due to divine intervention, now they're either born or are/were individuals that prayed and followed Drenauch, the god of control. Doing so would usually result in the individual receiving the blessing that gives them not only a new form but full control over their curse/disease/magic power. No matter what the original form of the creature was, they'd mutate into the Alberra, this being the only requirement Drenauch demands of those who were not born as Alberras and sought salvation from their predicaments. Albeit the only noticeable change besides possibly gaining height and weight, the only true noticeable changes was becoming cyclopean and having their skin become bark or stone like. All Alberras have a knack for psionic dabbling as well and some dive deeper into the field of psionic capability and prowess, ranging from levitation to personal weather systems. Despite their appearance and unique powers, they are a peaceful and fun loving race that does not take their second chance for granted, living their lives to the fullest and never giving up on their dreams.
