Homebrew Amalgamation Species Details

An Amalgamation is formed, not typically born of natural causes rather created for purpose or purely by accident. An Amalgamation may take on many different shapes and sizes depending on its origin. Either through arcane mis-haps or intricate design, the Amalgamation's only true definition is taking what was once a humanoid, intelligent and bending its appearance to something unrecognizable.

Due to it's seemingly limitless applications, the Amalgamation may have any modifications to its skills, traits and identity upon your DM's discretion. However they are almost always seen as an abomination to outsiders. Because of this a Amalgamation may be seen as an outcast from society, or in some cases, objectified and set out as a trophy. The amalgamation still retains traits from its original form, typically intellectual and non-physical traits.

Amalgamation's may have untapped talents and traits not yet discovered, this may be due to its origin, whether technological advancements or hidden arcane abilities.
