Homebrew Wildforged Species Details

Wildforged, born from the marriage of nature's vitality with the lifeless husk of a construct, are a testament to the convergence of magic and the natural world. Throughout the annals of history, countless clashes have transpired, prompting spellcasters to conjure arcane automatons, ranging from formidable golems to intricately designed clockwork soldiers, each tasked with fulfilling their master's commands. Regrettably, these magical creations often find themselves defeated on the battlefield and abandoned to decay. Yet, the rare occurrence arises when these semblances of life capture the attention of ethereal nature spirits, who, in an enchanting union, meld with these lifeless forms, bestowing upon them not just vitality, but the precious gift of sentience.

These reanimated constructs retain the echoes of their former existence, along with a deep-seated knowledge of their erstwhile obligations, yet they are no longer enchained by these mandates. Instead, they traverse the world, guided by newfound autonomy and an unquenchable yearning to rekindle their sense of purpose. While many Wildforged choose a simple existence within the embrace of lush forests, wandering the land, and safeguarding it against those who threaten the natural equilibrium, a select few embark on an extraordinary journey, traversing the globe in relentless pursuit of a singular, profound calling.
