Antling history

Antlings are a ant-like humanoid race, often looked down upon by humans and elves. They are often mistaken to be a subrace of Thri-Kreen, however they are a race of ants that have evolved to be humanoid in appearance. They have been used as slaves and mining tools for a long period of time.

Life in the hills

Antlings live in colonies ruled by one queen antling, most antlings spend their lives at the antling colonies.Because of the lives in the anthills, they have developped somewhat of a telepathy with their anthill, no other anthills.They only speak common but can use telepathy from their anthill.They often don't like the other anthills and often go to war against them.However, they very much enjoy if an ant from their colony visists from the outside, they are very curios creatures.

Ant build

Some antlings have a constructer build, those often stay at the colony to help the colony out.Some have a forager build, often too scared to leave the ant colony's radius.Some have a guard build, these are the ones going out of the radius and traveling.The features they all have in common are, short arms which cannot carry anything except for small items, an abdomen and a large insectoid jaw.

Antling looks

Antlings normally have a red, black or brown skin color. They normally have pitch black eyes. They have a lifespan of 35 years and they reach adulthood at 4 years old.

Antligs live most their life on solid ground.So they are not well adapted to swimming.

Ability score increase

Antlings have the ability to carry about 10 times their weight, so obviosly their constitution and strength increase.

Antling sight

Antlings live in dimly lit hills so they have adapted to see better in the dark.

Bitey burrowing

While burrowing antlings can sense where the enemy is above ground and can jump out the ground and bite the target with their strong jaws.
