Homebrew Zygon Species Details
Zygons are a new species that emerged from a rare and mysterious event that occurred in a remote region of the world. A powerful magical storm swept over a warforged city, an ooze colony, and a changeling village, and caused a massive explosion that fused their DNA together. The result was a new race of hybrid creatures that had the resilience of metal, the adaptability of ooze, and the shape changing of doppelgangers.

Ability Score Increase: Your Constitution score increases by 2, and your Intelligence score increases by 1.
Size: Your size is Medium.
Speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
You have the following benefits:
You have advantage on saving throws against being poisoned, and you have resistance to poison damage. You are immune to disease.
You do not need to eat, drink, or breathe. You do not need to sleep and do not suffer the effects of exhaustion due to lack of rest, and magic cannot put you to sleep.
You can change your appearance and voice at will. You can appear as any humanoid of your size that you have seen or as yourself with different features. Your clothing and equipment are not changed by this trait. You stay in the new form until you use an action to revert to your true form or until you die.
Metamorphic Adaptation: As a bonus action, you can adapt your body to better suit your environment or situation. You can choose one of the following effects, which lasts until you use this feature again or until you finish a long rest:
Acidic Coating: You secrete a layer of acid that covers your body and your weapons. You deal an extra 1d4 acid damage when you hit with a weapon attack or an unarmed strike. You also gain resistance to acid damage.
Camouflage: You change the color and texture of your skin to match your surroundings. You gain advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks as long as you remain still or move no more than half your speed on your turn. You also gain resistance to piercing damage.
Metallic Reinforcement: You reinforce your body with metal plates and spikes. You gain a +1 bonus to AC and deal an extra 1d4 piercing damage when you hit with an unarmed strike. You also gain resistance to slashing damage.
Ooze Form: You liquefy your body and become more ooze-like. You gain the ability to move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing, and you can spend 5 feet of movement to escape from nonmagical restraints or being grappled. You also gain resistance to bludgeoning damage.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
