Homebrew Dillokin Species Details
The Dillokin are a peaceful race of Armadillo people. They prefer to stay out of other's conflicts, but can be fierce warriors when threatened. They are a long lived race, living to about 250. They average between 4'11" to 5'6".

Dillokin have large plates on their back, that act as a shield when curled up.Languages
choose two common languages, and one rare language.
Resistances and Immunities
Gain immunity to slashing damage, and resistance to piercing.
Racial Spellcasting
You can cast Expeditious Retreat, for free, equal to proficiency bonus times per day. Reset with a long rest.
Armor Proficiencies
Your Armor Class is equal to 14 plus your DEX modifier. You are proficient with all shields and light armor. You can still benefit from bonuses to AC from shields and armor when in ball form.
Ball form
You can expend one action to curl up into a ball. While in ball form your speed falls to 0ft, and you recieve a +6 to AC.
Unfurl
Expending your bonus action will allow you to pop out of ball form back to your feet.

Weapon proficiencies
Choose four from Hand Crossbows, Light Crossbows, Heavy Crossbows, Short Bows, Long Bows, Spears, Javelins, Daggers, Whips and Scimitars.
Darkvision
Years of living in tunnels have given the Dillokin the ability to see in the dark, upwards of 60ft.
