Homebrew Capybara-Folk Species Details
The capybara folk usually live in packs of many and have big and small cities because of their natural chill most of them use bows to their advantage and take ranged positions so many capybara guards though they have spears to protect castle gates prefer ranged options when entering battle. they have tons of fur and thick skin but with so much chill it makes them very charismatic creatures and easily persuasive though not as scary looking and usually choose a peaceful option in situations and are great talkers because of this they are usually neutral and good and like to adventure with a crew or stay in the safety of their cities rarely moving from place to place or going out of their way to hurt something.
Capybara-Folk Traits
Capybara-Folk are agile, fast swimmers and survivalists therefore they are great in the wild and in far range situations they are also very good with range weapons because of their calm in stress full situations and have sharp teeth for those who get too close.Gnawing Strike
While using an unarmed strike you can instead Gnaw on your enemy to do a better unarmed strike doing 1d6 damage that goes up by 1d6 every 6 levels this is like a better unarmed strike that cant be used to do actions like pushing people away or unarmed strikes other effects and unarmed strike itself needs to be rolled for those this is a melee action so it has to be in 5ft range to attack someone
Calm Under Pressure
Capybara folk are very cool and calm under pressure and can stay that way when their lives or someone else are at risk this makes them very good at bows and arrows like Longbows, Shortbows, Crossbows, and blowguns because of their natural cool they are better fighters at range even though they do have Gnawing Strike as a self defense option if someone does get close them this is why capybara guards usually have spears but like to stay at range and use their longbows and they are commonly hired as archers for adventure teams and defence far range defense units
Characteristic
Capybara-Folk can be experienced creatures so they can pick between being a Survivalist, Cautious, or Speedster at level 4 you get to pick 1 option at 11 you can pick two options and at level 16 you can pick 3!!!
Unnatural Chill
Capybaras are very chill creatures and very wise which makes up for their lack of strength capybaras usually have experience in things and can be very persuasive when they want to be given +2 Charisma, +1 Wisdom but -1 Strength because of their lack for strength they don't usually push objects but rip and tear things apart attempting to be as charismatic as possible
Rodent Ansestry
Capybara-Folk are part of the Rodent family tree and can speak with other rodents such as rats and squirrels when speaking to these types of animals you speak in their language and others who cannot speed rodents or do not cast speak with animals will not understand your conversations if someone where to cast speak with animals they would not understand animals like rodents but your speech when you're speaking in the language of such rodent.
Webbed Feet
Capybara-folk are great swimmers and fast runners therefore capybara-folks swimming and walking speed is equal value due to the Capybara-Folk's speedy nature so if your walking speed goes up your swimming speed goes up and the opposite is also true if anything or anyone lowers or limits your walking speed or swimming speed the same applies for the other for the duration of the effect or spell. if both of them are different speeds take the one that is lower or ask the (DM) if the situation makes you take the higher speed instead.
Speed
Capybara-Folk are agile creatures who prefer to move at high speeds and swim at high speeds there for they have 30ft of movement that can be changed to 40ft if you take the speedster characteristic at level 4,11 or 16

There are 2 different races of capybara-Folk one of them being a smaller version and a medium-sized version picked by the player.
