Devilish Bloodline

Blue Devils are derived from human bloodlines, and in the broadest possible sense, they still look human. However, their Devil heritage has left a clear imprint on their appearance. Blue Devils have tails, four to five feet long, which lash or coil around their legs when they get upset or nervous. Their canine teeth are sharply pointed, and their eyes are solid Yellow or gold—with no visible sclera or pupil (They glow like a cat in the dark.) Their skin tones are always some shade of blue with dark shadows covering their bodies. Their hair is also almost always blue but some may have fiery red hair as well (This applies to body and facial hair as well.) Blue devils also usually only have three fingers (Two thick normal-length fingers and a thick thumb-like finger) but they can have human hands. They also usually have two-pronged feet that give them great balance.

Self-Reliant and Suspicious

Blue Devils subsist in small minorities found mostly in human cities or towns, often in the roughest quarters of those places, where they grow up to be swindlers, thieves, or crime lords. Sometimes they live among other minority populations in X-Men bases where they are treated with more respect.

Lacking a homeland, Blue Devils know that they have to make their own way in the world and that they have to be strong to survive. They are not quick to trust anyone who claims to be a friend, but when a Blue Devil's companion demonstrates that they trust him or her, the Blue Devil learns to extend the same trust to them. And once a Blue Devil gives someone loyalty, the Blue Devil is a firm friend or ally for life.

Ignorant people tend to be suspicious of Blue Devils, assuming that their infernal heritage has left its mark on their personality and morality, not just their appearance. The reality is that a Blue Devil's bloodline doesn’t affect their personality. They are usually Mutants with a specific power that they can use.
