Due to their rarity and profound connection to the cosmos, Constellari are considered a mythical and mysterious race. They rarely appear in the mortal world and are often seen as bringers of prosperity and wisdom. Their presence is regarded as a sign of unity between heaven and earth.
Celestial Legacy
The Constellari are a rare and enchanting starfolk originating from the farthest reaches of the universe. Their head and hands are often floating stars, disconnected from the neck and arms. It cannot float around independently and does not emit bodyheat. The floating stars of the Constellari are considered sacred, symbolizing the connection between their race and the celestial realms. It is believed that each floating star carries the essence of a distant star, signifying their eternal bond with the cosmos. Their skin is harder and emits a soft, gentle glow, the intensity of which adjusts naturally based on their emotions and surroundings. For instance, the glow dims during moments of stealth or brightens when they experience intense emotions like happiness or excitement. Their eyes are one simple color, often black or institutional white. Constellari do not grow hair naturally. Some of them, desiring a more humanoid appearance, may choose to wear wigs made from fibers, allowing them the freedom to experiment with various styles and colors.
Starborn
When stars are born, there's a rare chance for a Constellari to be born with it. In the cosmic symphony of creation, when newborn stars emerge from the celestial cradle, a fleeting opportunity arises. During these awe-inspiring moments, when the universe itself seems to hold its breath, a constellation of unique circumstances converges. Energies older than time itself intertwine, birthing not just stars, but something far more extraordinary—a Constellari. Born from the very essence of the newborn star, a Constellari emerges, its existence intertwined with the stellar forces that brought it into being. Such events are as rare as the birth of stars themselves, making each Constellari a manifestation of cosmic chance and celestial wonder.

Constellari, being rare and enigmatic, integrate into other societies as revered scholars, mystical guides, celestial artisans, peace ambassadors, guardians of sacred sites, interplanar travelers, and inspirational figures. Religion
The religion of the Constellari is deeply intertwined with their celestial origins and reverence for the cosmos. They worship Astralys, the Mother of Stars, as the supreme deity who created the universe and bestowed life upon all beings. Astralys is believed to reside in the heart of the largest and brightest star in the universe, from where she watches over the souls of the departed and guides them to their rightful place among the stars.
Within Constellari society, there exists an esteemed group known as the Order of Astral Guides. Comprising scholars, astronomers, and powerful mages, this order is dedicated to studying the movements of the stars, interpreting celestial omens, and preserving ancient prophecies.
