Homebrew Cervitaur Species Details

The cervitaurs are a dainty yet strong race, half-deer, half-humanoid, similar in shape to centaurs. They come from the feywilds, but can also be found in the Material Plane. They can range anywhere from 6’5” to 8’, and can weigh 175 to 240, with males being bigger than females. Skin is near the color of their fur, while head-hair is curly and doesn’t grow past their shoulders. Clothes are sparse among this culture.

They have the agility and strength of a deer, the intelligence of a human, and enough anxiety for both races combined. They live in herds with an average of eighty members.

The natural lifespan of these sentients vary greatly depending on whether they reside in the Material Plane or the feywilds—the average in the Material Plane is 50, and in the feywilds, it is 150.

Male cervitaurs are capable of growing antlers depending on the climate they live in. In the Material Plane, antlers are grown and shed with the seasons. In the feywilds, antlers are a more permanent fixture and grow in size depending on which Court the cervitaur lives in. Females cannot grow antlers.
