The Ancient Automaton, it originated from an ancient kingdom, and when that kingdom crumbled, the automaton was abandoned, deactivated and alone, everything but time itself forgot about the robot. Time of course never left, and the robot rusted, and the ages ticked away at the shell of life, but eventually, somebody in a dwarven city eventually found the automaton, and attempted to fix it. but the advanced technology was too much to figure out, so with the body cleaned, and slightly repaired, the automaton was left in an alley somewhere, alone again, it unconsciously waited for somebody, something, to find it. and to keep it... something nobody had done. but when you have a dream, a will, a wish. even something that master craftsmen and smiths couldn't do, could be done by something as simple as a kick to the shin, or rather a person tripping over the leg of something so old, and broken as a thrown away automaton...
