Anarach Traits
Anarach Racial Traits stem from their arachnid forms and magic unique to spider gods and spirits.Arachnid Build
You count as a creature one size larger when determining how much you can lift, carry, or drag.
Spider Climb
You can walk up walls and across ceilings without having to make a check and keeping your hands free.
Webworker
You are proficient with weaver’s tools and may double your proficiency with weaver’s tools. Due to your arachnid form, you are always considered to have weaver’s tools at hand.
Beginning at 3rd level you can cast the Web spell with this trait ignoring any spell components. You decide if Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your Spellcasting ability. You can cast the spell in this way once and must complete a long rest before doing so again. If you have spell slots of 2nd level or higher you may also use them to cast this spell.
At 5th level, when you use this feature to cast Web you can choose to instead spend 1 hour creating a textile good from your own webbing such as a rope, rope ladder, net, tent, or garment as found in the Equipment section of the Player's Handbook. These items add your constitution bonus (minimum 1) to their AC and have twice the hit points of standard equipment. These materials are no more flammable than their mundane counterparts. Each such use can produce a bolt of silk as described in Trade goods. At the DM's discretion, multiple uses may be able to create larger items such as boat sails, etc.
Ambush Culture
The Anarach subsist on the blood of powerful monsters in their ancestral homes and depend on traps and ambushes to hunt.
Hematophage
You can subsist solely on the blood of living creatures in place of food and water. You can spend 1 hour draining the blood of an incapacitated living creature that is Small or larger and this may be done as part of a short or long rest. This inflicts a level of exhaustion on the target. Feeding in this way sustains you for 10 days.
