Homebrew Celestialborn Species Details

Celestialborn are beings touched by celestial energy, carrying an otherworldly aura and a heightened sense of reality. While not as powerful as their Celestialsapien counterparts, Celestialborns still bear a connection to the celestial plane.

Reality sense is a manifestation of the Celestialborn's innate understanding of the world around them. This heightened perception grants them an advantage when investigating the fabric of reality.

Celestial heritage provides Celestialborns with resistance to radiant damage, reflecting their celestial origin and the inherent connection to positive energies.

Ethereal presence allows Celestialborns to sense magical auras. By casting detect magic, they can identify the presence of magic within their surroundings, showcasing their connection to the celestial and magical realms.

Immortal nature ensures that Celestialborns do not age and are immune to the magical effects of aging. This longevity is a testament to their celestial lineage.

Celestialborns often find themselves drawn to pursuits that align with their celestial nature, such as serving as emissaries, scholars, or protectors of the divine. Their abilities make them natural leaders and diplomats.

In an adventuring party, a Celestialborn can serve as a knowledgeable investigator, a magic-sensitive scout, or a charismatic diplomat. Their connection to the celestial realm adds a layer of mystery and divine influence to the group, and their extended lifespan allows them to offer unique perspectives on the passage of time.
