Homebrew Anthelopyian B-Type Species Details
Tough, Athletic, and Boisterous. The Anthelpyian race is an ancient, long forgotten race. Reptilian in physical appearance. The Anthelopyians mature faster than most creatures. As early as age 10, is to be considered a fully matured Anthelopyian. Split into two separate division, co-existing as one. The athletes do not sport a strong mind. However they do sport an unfathomably durable body. Pressuring any creature that fights against one, into submission.
Anthelopyian B-Type Traits
Anthelopyians are an ancient race. Separated into two groups. Anthelopyian I-Type, and Antelopyian B-Type.Ability Score Increase
Ability Score Increase:
- +1 to Strength ability score(s).
- +1 to Dexterity ability score(s).
Power
A useful tool that is unique to the B-Type Anthelopyians. Providing versatility and an increase to overall physical output. At player level 1, you start with a small pool of 2 Power points. This pool increases by 1 for ever 2nd player level. You recover your power points on short rest, unless specified otherwise,
Enhanced Physical Precision:
- At the start of your turn, as a bonus action, you may spend 1 point of Power to increase the attack roll of one melee weapon that is either Light, Versatile, Martial, Simple, or Finesse by +1 for 3 round(s). You can not apply this effect to any other melee weapon until the modified weapon's attack roll returns to normal.
Perilous Power:
- As a bonus action, you may spend 1 point of Power to increase one weapon of choice's damage rolls by an additional 1d4 for 3 round(s). You can not re-apply this effect to this weapon, or apply this effect to any other weapon until the weapon of choice's damage roll returns to normal.
- At Higher Levels: For every 4th player level, gain an additional 1d4 to the effect.
Racial Language Deficiency
Racial Language Deficiency:
- The B-Type Anthelopyians were never taught how to speak languages well. It has become such a forgotten trait, that they only know one language of their choosing.
- An added benefit to having two divisions, with one primarily focused on innovations. The I-Type Anthelopyians created a special skill that has been taught to all B-Type's. The skill of language comprehension. Upon contact with a creature, the Anthelopyian can learn the targeted creature's language for a limited amount of time.
Mental Ineptitude
Mental Ineptitude:
- -2 to Intelligence ability score(s).
- -1 to Wisdom ability scores(s).
- -3 to Initiative modifier(s).
- Disadvantage to Intelligence saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks.
