Homebrew Dracyr Species Details

Dracyr are the result of experimental breeding between Satyrs and Dragons. They have a drconic looking top half, complete with wings and sharp claws.

The bottom half is the same as regular Satyrs. Unlike regular Satyrs however, a female Dracyr was not an extremely rare occurrence. 

The size of the Dracyr average 6 feet tall with a much wider top half than bottom half.

Unholy Sciences

The experiments to create such a species were horrendous with much pain to both species of parent, but even more pain to the deformed offspring. Even when born in perfect health, the hooved legs of a Dracyr were not built very well for supporting the top half of theor bodies. This lack of support leads them to prefer flying to walking.

Embracing Life

Despite the hardships of being born a Dracyr, they do share in the embrace of life their Satyr lineage is well known for. They don't willingly give up their lives, even to save another.

Choose one ability score to increase by 2, and a different ability score to increase by 1.

Dracyrs inherit the lifespans of the dragons chosen as their parents.

Many Dracys feel cheated for being born the way the were. Generally, they fall under neutral alignment.

Dracyrs average 6ft tall. You are medium.

Your base walking speed is 20 feet.

Dragon

Your creature type is dragon, rather than humanoid.

Claws

Your claws count as unarmed strikes and deal 1d6 + Strength Modifier Slashing damage on a hit.

Flight

The wings inherited from your dragon parentage give you the ability to fly.

You have a flying speed of 30 ft.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common, Draconic, and Sylvan.
