Homebrew Abstrate Species Details

Abstrates are vaguely humanoid creatures with mutated and warped limbs. Originally created by a now forgotten deity to serve as soldiers, they are now free to roam the world, although most civilized races are are still weary of them, as they appear mangled and disfigured compared to most humanoids. Their skin is usually black or dark purples and blues, and it has an almost iridescent property to it.

Abstrate Traits

Because they were originally created by magic, they still have some innate powers, along with their powerful limbs

Dark soldier

Gain +1 str, +1 Wis, and +1 to any stat.

Innate magic

You gain one warlock cantrip and one warlock level one spell. Cast these spells using your wisdom modifier.The level one spell can be used a number of times per long rest equal to your proficiency bonus.

Natural talents

You gain proficiencies in intimidation and arcana. 

Friend of shadows

You gain darkvision, and once per long rest you can see invisible objects and creatures for 30 seconds.
