Homebrew Yuan-ti Abomination Species Details
Ability Score Increases
When determining your character’s ability scores, increase one score by 2 and increase a different score by 1, or increase three different scores by 1.
Languages
Your character can speak, read, and write Common and one other language that you and your DM agree is appropriate for the character.
Creature Type
As a Yuan-ti Abomination you are humanoid, but you are also considered a monstrosity for any effects that require it.
Life Span
As a Yuan-ti Abomination who has completely lost any semblance of once being human, you reach maturity at 20 years old, and can live up to 8000 years, though the upper limit is not known, as older Yuan-ti are seldom seen, electing to sleep and lie dormant instead of move about.
Height and Weight
Yuan-ti Abominations stand tall compared to other humanoids and their pure-blood counterparts, your base height is 7'10", while your base weight is 300lbs.
Yuan-ti Abomination Traits
As a yuan-ti abomination, you have the following racial traits.Shapechanger
You can use its action to polymorph into a Large snake, or back into its true form. Its statistics are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn’t transformed. It doesn’t change form if it dies. You can use this a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier(minimum of 1). You regain all expended uses on a long rest.

You are Medium or Small. You choose the size when you select this race.
Speed
Your walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision
You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light. You discern colors in that darkness only as shades of gray.
Magic Resistance
You have advantage on saving throws against spells.
Poison Resilience
You have advantage on saving throws you make to avoid or end the poisoned condition on yourself. You also have resistance to poison damage.
Serpentine Spellcasting
You know the poison spray cantrip. You can cast animal friendship an unlimited number of times with this trait, but you can target only snakes with it. Starting at 3rd level, you can also cast suggestion with this trait. Once you cast it, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast it using any spell slots you have of 2nd level or higher.
Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait (choose when you select this race).
