Homebrew Arcanoid Species Details
The Arcanoid are an enigmatic and intriguing race, shrouded in mystery and steeped in dark origins. According to legend, they were created through a sinister process deep within the depths of the Underdark. It is believed that a corrupted and power-hungry wizard, driven by an insatiable thirst for dominance, was responsible for their creation.
Arcanoid Traits
Arcanoid features:Ability score Increase
You can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, and 1 ability score of your choice by 1, or you can increase 3 ability scores of your choice by 1.
Arcane Mimic
The moment a creature you can see and hear moves within 50 feet of you, you can observe it for one minute as a reaction. At the end of this time, you can use its racial traits as if it were yours. You can only have the traits of two races on you at once. All traits are removed at the beginning of a short or long rest. (NOTE: Feats, boosts to AC and additional speeds (flying, etc…), count to this total. Any hit points gained from racial traits are temporary and last until the beginning of a short or long rest). As a bonus action, you can dismiss the racial traits.
