Homebrew Awakened Giant Crab Species Details

Giant Crabs are a common danger lurking on the coastlines of the forgotten realms. These large crustaceans will feed on anything they can get their pincers on, and that often extends to all humanoids in their vicinity. Despite their large size, the big crabs aren't very bright, having almost no discernible intelligence. However from time to time, when a wizard gets bored, or a surge of magic strikes an area, one of these giant crabs might be blessed with the gift of sentience. Suddenly awakened with a new outlook on the world, these large arthropods that can suddenly think for themselves venture out, seeking a greater purpose
