Homebrew Yacana Species Details

The yacana is a llama-like humanoid that originated in the mountains and savannahs. They are tall and wooly, with the head and neck being a llama, and long limbs. They are rare, and there are only about a thousand left out in the wild, but they do live in cities, though they are as rare, if not more rare.

Yacana Traits

As a yacana, you will have the following traits.

Ability Score Increase

Increase Dexterity by 2, the maximum being 20.

Age

Yacanas live slightlly shorter than humans, so about 70-80 years.

Alignment

Usually, but not always, chaotic neutral. (NEVER LAWFUL)

Size

A yacana's size is always medium, ranging from 5 1/2 feet to 6 1/4 feet.

Speed

Walking Speed: 30 ft. Climbing Speed: 35 ft.

Languages

Common & Yacana are the two main languages of the Yacana.

Llama's Spit

The Yacana spits at their foe. It is an unarmed attack that deals 1d6 bludgeoning damage  (or 3 bludgeoning damage, take your pick)

Familiar with Nature

Choose two of the following:  Acrobatics,  Animal Handling,  Atheletics, Nature, or Survival.

Mountainous Stamina

When in the mountains or caves, your walking speed increases to 35, while your climbing speed goes to 40.
