Homebrew Advanced Monkey Species Details

The Advanced Monkey is the offspring of human ancestors who never evolved. They mature at age 5 and can live for 25-30 years. A mature Advanced Monkey is easily recognizable because of their tail and hairy skin. An Advanced Monkey has either hazel, chocolate or ginger fur.

They are naturally curious, especially in natural environments. They are also friendly towards almost anyone unless given a reason not to be. They take life one tree at a time, rarely thinking about the future. They only in the last hundred years migrated from the Beastlands. They feel a great debt to Severus a great human warlock who opened a portal for the Advanced Monkeys to migrate to their new home. They are scattered far and wide with many common folk thinking the are just a simple myth...

An Advanced monkeys name is a mix of guttural sounds and howls thus it is unpronounceable for other species so they take on a human name followed by Severus in honour of the warlock.

As Advanced Monkeys are so curious they gain proficiency in investigation and perception.
