Homebrew Argonian Species Details

Argonians, or in their native tongue Saxhleel (People of the Root) are a lizard like race native to Black Marsh. Their race is known for their agility and cunning as well as their connection to a race of sentient trees known as the Hist.

Argonians have a long history of guerilla warfare from the multiple invasions of Black Marsh throughout history. Argonians are also commonly taken as slaves, especially in Morrowind. They are often looked down upon by the other races. Even their name, Argonian, is an Imperial term. Argonains often spend their time basking in the sun or laying just below the surface in a marsh or swamp.

Hist Blooded

Argonaians, thanks to their Hist Bloodedness and unique circulatory systems, are immune to being poisoned as well as having resistance to common diseases.

Amphibious Assassin

Argonaians have a long history of hunting from the water. Their gills allow them to breathe underwater and their experience in hunting gives them an extra d6 to their attack damage when starting in water.

Scaly Hunters

Argonians are expert hunters, experienced at chasing prey over rough terrain and have scaly skin to help tank any blows their cornered prey might inflict. This manifests itself as +2 dex and +1 con.
