Homebrew Arachi Species Details

"Say what you want about the Arachi, when the time seems desperate, they are there to fight in force" Yulian Mageborn, General of the Hul Forces during the Age of Uncertainty

The Arachi are a proud race, what used to be proud tribesmen, became proud warriors willing to protect what they believe in. The many Arachi that live in the Sosho Desert do not always believe in the Qra Dynasty, but mainly align themselves to their tribes. This has caused a rift that led to the Militia-Qra War in 1772 but is also responsible for the large scale military presence across the desert.

Masters of Waterca

When the yoke of Cyclops oppression was lifted from the Arachian People, Eleves from the Molian Islands traveled the world to share their master of magic. Each race found magic they were exceptionally good at, and for the Arachi this was Waterca. They mastered using the magic to create rain or cause rivers to flow again, which helped in their desert home. When the Dagger Laws were passed, no one was supposed to teach magic outside the Qra Schools, but leaders known as simply "Town Magicians" would teach young Arachi the ways to use their magic to help their families farms.

Connected by village not by Nation

Up until the Age of Revolution, Villagers didn't care about the decisions by the king as long as they could feed themselves and their family, this caused the villages to become more connected then the towns who tended to be more political compared to the areas outside of their walls. To a village Arachian, to leave to become an adventure was a difficult choice, but one that tended to be celebrated with a fest and party by the Chieftain of your village, as they believe you would bring honor to their home.

The Masters of Metal

Besides Waterca magik, Arachis were also able to use very heavy equipment with ease thanks to their natural strength and the lively trade between them and the Lioan Kingdom. Creating master suits of armor and weapons, the Qra Army was on par with the giant of Lofon, the Hul Empire.
