Homebrew Alak'Mehorn Species Details

As I walking in my dream I saw a creature I had never seen before. It was tall with fairly black skin. I decided to walk over to the creature. Now that I was in front of the creature I could tell it was fairly tall. I decided to step in front of the creature. The giant looked down at me and said "Why do you step in my path small wizard?", he said this with emotion and it stunned me. I looked at him and I said "I have never seen a creature like you. What are you?" The creature chuckled and said "We are more than most can comprehend are you sure you want to try wizard?" I scratched my beard and said "Yes, I believe I can giant." He scratched his clean shaven face mimickingly and sat down. He then patted the ground gesturing for me to sit as well. I sat and he began to speak "We are the Alak'Mehorn. In you language that means dream walkers. We exist and we don't exist all at the same time. We exist in your peoples dream realm." I continued to scratch my beard and said "Does that mean you exist or are you a figure of my imagination?" He chuckled again and said "We exist and we have been to your plain. But we mostly decide to stay in our plain. We have been documented before by a man named Arthur Pen.." His voice began to fade. I focused because I knew I didn't have much time so I said "I'm waking up. Am I able to come back. If so how. I don't even know your name." He stood up again and said in the most monstrous booming voice "You will be back because I will make it so. I am the king of the dream realm and my name is Theotric Daegborn, I will see you again wizard."

Because of their time spent alone the Alak'Mehorn have developed a keen sense of taste and wisdom.

Age

The Alak'Mehorn can live for a long time and when they die they can be reborn in the dream realm. 

Allignment

The Alak'Mehorn usual don't choose sides so they have an innate tendency to go for true neutral but in some cases they go for either go for good or evil.

 

 

Size

The Alak'Mehorn are a strong and tall people. Well that's at least what the stories tell.

Speed

The Alak'Mehorn are fairly fast but not the quickest. 

Darkvision

The Alak'Mehorn have lived in the dark for a long time. But they are not affected by the sunlight as they travel between worlds almost every day. 

Dream teleportation

The Alak'Mehorn teleport home and heal after or during tough situations. They only do this once a day in fear of permanently distorting their bodies. 

Languages

The Alak'Mehorn speak the language of the dream realm, Dreamish, all creatures speak this language in their dreams.
