Homebrew Baalith Species Details

I had never seen such beauty. As she turned around, and her eyes met mine, I saw her truly. Lavender hair, like fields of violets rippling in the breeze, red eyes, with the luster of rubies and pomegranates, skin, pale and slightly teal-ish, that's when I knew - I had found true beauty.

Baalith are humanoids from an alternate dimension called Soulheart - they look similar to humans, except with hair colours like purple or lavender, teal or green, scarlet, and pink. They also have pointy ears, skin usually tinted purplish or teal, and eyes of colours like gold, green, purple, red, or white.

 

Baalith are born with an innate connection to the Lifeblood - they naturally learn two cantrips since birth.

Baalith are typically quite lanky - the tallest Baalith ever recorded was 9 feet and 6 inches tall. They range from 5 feet all the way to 7 feet in height.

The walking speed of a Baalith tends to be about 30 ft.

Darkvision

Baalith eyes glow slightly in the dark, and they have 90 ft. of darkvision - which means, they can see in dim light like it's bright light, and see in no light like it's dim light.

Lifeblood Connection

Baalith have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put them to sleep.
