Homebrew Aicanis Species Details

Emerging from a deep forest long ago, these canine humanoids take pride in their intelligence and community, having long since shed their original feral nature in favor of an artistic and creative culture. Their canine disposition lends itself well to many kinds of people, but inventors, artificers, and creatives are held in high regard. They are smart, and they are agile; they tend to get through life by thinking outside the box and having the skill (and assistance) to pull off their unusual solutions and achieve their goals. Their sense of community is not often impaired, and they recognize the value of working with others. They are often friendly, or at the very least tolerant of others as a result of their culture.

The Aicanis usually name their pups after colors.

Physical Characteristics

The Aicanis appear as canine humanoids with varied shades of green or brown fur to match the forests they are often born in. While they have claws, they are quite soft and dull/break easily and as such cannot be used as weapons or tools. An Aicanis' height ranges from about 5 - 6 1/2 feet tall when fully grown.

The Aicanis age at a faster rate than humans, though not by much; they will usually live until about 70.
