Descendants of the intrepid settlers from the doomed continent of Volthimis, the Westernians are a diverse and adaptable people who have navigated the tumultuous currents of history to establish themselves as a dominant force across the lands of Morus. Driven by a relentless spirit of exploration and expansion, they embarked on perilous journeys across vast oceans and treacherous landscapes, seeking new opportunities and territories to claim as their own.

A Proud People

Descendents from the Westernians usually retained some semblance of their old Volthimic features, such as pale skin and tawny hair, but they look different after years of being away from their old home. They are slightly shorter than Morusian humans on average, ranging from well under 5ft2 to just over 6 feet (Stormlanders grow to about 6ft 6). They are of average build most of the time, with women weighing only 100 to 145 pounds and males 160-190lbs, all depending on what type of descendent is in question. 

Adapting, Like Always

Their migrations were not without challenges, as they encountered fierce resistance from indigenous peoples and rival factions vying for control of the untamed wilderness. However, through sheer determination and ingenuity, the Westernians overcame these obstacles, carving out mighty kingdoms and empires that spanned continents. As they settled in their newfound lands, the Westernians intermingled with the native inhabitants, forging bonds through trade, diplomacy, and, at times, conflict. Yet, despite their divisions, the Westernians share a common heritage and a shared sense of destiny, bound together by the legacy of Volthimis and the collective drive to leave their mark on the world. Whether as traders, warriors, scholars, or adventurers, they continue to shape the course of history, their indomitable spirit echoing through the ages. These birthed the subraces of the Alyrusian, the Stormlander, the Brithonian, the Elynian, and the Jalgrader.
