Homebrew Adult wolf Species Details

Wolves are a type of animal similar to that of a werewolf, but unlike werewolves they are not Humanoids. When you choose this race, talk with your DM about what your wolf looks like. Do they have black or gray or some other color of fur? Do they have black, brown or pink noses? Are they male or female? Are they a lone wolf or part of a pack? If they have a pack, what is the packs name? Does your wolf have a mate or pups? If your wolf is part of a pack, is their rank Alpha, Beta, Omega or something else? What does your wolf think of humans or Humanoids? Does your wolf or wolf pack have an established territory? Has your wolf or wolf pack lost some of it's territory because of other wolves or animals? Did your wolf or wolf pack try to get it back and did they succeed?

Adult wolf Traits

Wolves have darkvision, as well as an incredible sense of smell. They also have Good hearing.

Superior dark vision

This race has darkvision, meaning they can see in dim light as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't see colors in this darkness, only shades of gray. You can only see things using darkvision within a certain number of feet. Your darkvision has a range of 120 feet.

Track Scent

Wolves have an incredible sense of smell. Their sense of smell is so good they can find things with it! Once per Long rest, you can find a creature using your nose. You can also detect invisible creatures using this as long as their within 60 feet. You automatically detect the presence of creatures if their within 30 feet of you.

good hearing

You can listen closely to your surroundings, detecting the presence of a hidden enemy as long as their within 30 feet of you. You can only use this trait once per day.
