Homebrew Whiskerling Species Details

 

Ability Score Increases

When determining your character’s ability scores, increase one score by 2 and increase a different score by 1, or increase three different scores by 1. 

Languages

Your character can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice. 

Life Span

Whiskerlings mature by the age of six and live to 60 years on average, though many die before age takes them. Whiskerlings do not suffer the effects of old age

Size

Whiskerlings of Warwhisker origin are between 6 and 8 feet tall, and weigh between 360 to 480 pounds. Those of the Sharpfur are between 3 and 4 feet tall and weigh between 60 and 80 pounds.

Alignment

Many Whiskerlings revel in wild freedom and hold a chaotic disposition. Whiskerlings hold a looser view on morality from most other races, and their clans often range wildly from chaotic good to chaotic evil from the perspective of outsiders.

As a Whiskerling, you have the following racial traits.

You are a Humanoid. 

Size

Your size is Medium if you are a warwhisker whiskerling, or small if you are a sharpfur whiskerling

Speed

Your walking speed is 35 ft.

Heroic Echo

In the face of adversity, you may manifest an aspect of the Nodharr’s heroism. As a bonus action, you gain expertise in one skill you are proficient in of your choice, including spellcasting and weapon skills, until the end of your next turn.

You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Ageless Body

You are unaffected by old age.
