Homebrew Astro Guardian Species Details

Meteor storms create the astral forms of the Astro Guardian infant. Tricking travellers that use the stars as a guide, they prank but also impair wanderers that wronged the stars. Their deep hatred to poachers and hunters let them occasionally unite in mountain tops to remove them or push them off a cliff. Just hope that it doesn't look like the cosmos have surrounded you while hiking.

Majestic Yet Horrifying

The Astro Guardians are compiled of space particles forming beautiful colours with a planet core in the centre of their chest, acting like the gravitational force keeping their 7 foot tall humanoid shape as stars formed their faces and produced their own light. As a way of defence, they gathered any scraps nearby to protect their planetary heart unless they know that they could successfully ambush the target with their allies. In day, they usually hide in dark and deep caverns or dungeons to hide the valuable planet but at night, they scatter and travel across the world. The space matter that makes up the humanoid body might be beautiful but from any angle, your depth perception skews as if it was directly looking at space, endless and continuous as a clear outline of their body being gone with the planet heart being the only way to truly know the size of the being with the large the planet being the larger the Astro Guardian and the more rings the planet has, that's 100 years measured of their age. Their humanoid shape shifts at the rate of a human from an infant at age 0 to an adult at age 20 and so on.

The Astro Kismet

Many Astro Guardians seek to travel across the world to find a place to resolve and keep true peace without the risk of a hunter trying to take the core of their planet. They act like pranksters to wanderers as they use their bodies to make them lost yet they all believe in an Astro Guardian that will be able to restore peace amongst them and the other races, calling that Astro Guardian the Astro Kismet by nature. The belief of the Astro Kismet is of the Astro Guardian being able to manipulate fate's string to support his people. Astro Guardians that formed their first planetary ring started to refer to themselves as shamans and priests of Astro Kismet, going on crusades and pilgrimages to any mountain with suspected Astro Guardians.

Mineral Massacre

After a majority of the Astro Guardian population was massacred, a hate started to form in the mind of them due to noticing the ores of their dead friends being in cheap blades and armours, as if they were hunted just for their strong material. A deep hatred spews against dwarves as they believe they use the core's materials to create better swords and armours that will break either way. This deep detestation brew in their community as they started to locate the mountain homes of many dwarven communities so that they could take it over and make it into a pile of rubble, sparing the Dwarf lives as an unconscious sign of their good and mischievous nature. They recently started to attempt leaving their past and stay in hiding, though the noises of a pickaxe always causes them to panic slightly.
